The Desert Viewfinders Camera Club is a nonprofit organization formed in 1967 to provide a forum where individuals interested in all types of photography can meet. The "Desert Viewfinders" is dedicated to helping club members increase their enjoyment and mastery of photography skills through club activities and the cooperative effort of its members.

The Desert Viewfinders Camera Club draws its members from the immediate Tucson area and outlying areas, and many winter visitors.  As a result, the membership includes professional people, blue collar workers, retirees, and homemakers.  Photographic skills vary from beginner to professional, and interests are as varied as the

membership, with landscapes, flora, fauna, and portraiture being the most popular.

We meet twice per month, September through May, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.  Meeting time is 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  For competitions, the meeting are held online using Zoom (this is usually the meeting on the 4th Wednesday).  Meetings without a competition are usually held at a local restaurant and with the time and location annouced several days before the meeting.  See the Activities page for more details about what the club has to offer and what is happening in the near future.
